About Us

Established in 2000, the Legendary Lion Dance Association is a local lion dance group based in San Diego CA dedicated to preserving & promoting the Chinese culture & art of lion dance. Originally the group was a small team in its early years. Overtime our group has grown huge with members from different parts of San Diego. Our group goal is to promote community service, bring more diversity and culture to the San Diego community, educate and promote lion dance as a physical sport & cultural activity.
